Terms and Conditions

1. We regret that as Sykes House is a Grade 11 listed building, we have been unable to make it accessible for visitors with mobility problems or young children.  The entrance door is narrow and our guest rooms are on the first floor up a steep and winding stone staircase.  We do not therefore accept children or babies, or disabled visitors with mobility issues.
2. A deposit of £10.00 per person is required to confirm the booking and cheques should be made payable to Sykes House B&B.
3. On departure the balance can be paid by cash, cheque of credit card.
   
4. We reserve the right to charge for booked accommodation if cancelled less than 48 hours prior to expected arrival.
5. In the event that you need to cancel more than 48 hours before expected arrival date, we will endevour to re-let your accommodation.  If this is not possible you may be liable for full payment.
6. You may check in at any time after 3.00pm but if you expect to arrive after 5.30pm please let us know so that we can ensure someone is here to welcome you.
7. Please checkout by 10.00 am on departure day.
8. We do not accept dogs.
9. We can arrange secure, under-cover storage for cycles and motor bikes - please let us know if you need this.
10. Sorry but we cannot offer single occupancy rates at weekends or Bank Holidays.
11. Single night stay Friday and Saturday are also not available at peak times.
12. Out of season special 3 nights for the price of 2, Monday to Thursday.
